A real Bavarian guy – made in Bavaria, Germany.
This young man is a wooden doll made by the artist Helga Weich. Head and hands are carved out of maple-wood. The body is made out of fabric and is stuffed. The doll has a blond natural hair wig and blue hand painted eyes, please look closer how fine the eyes are painted.
Mrs. Weich likes to cut the dolls clothing out of original pieces to be very authentic.
The outstanding leather pants are made out of original old Bavarian pants. The seam on the side has a lighter colour piping and stitching. Leather suspenders and a key chain with a Bavarian lion is a must. Of course there is a little pocket for snuff tobacco and a handkerchief. The shirt is made out of very fine old linen.
The felt jacket is also made out of a real one.
A pair of hand knitted socks and nice leather shoes are completing the outfit and on top of all there is that nice hat with a feather.
The doll is one of a kind, it is signed in the neck and is with a certificate.
